Napoleon, MI, Release: March 9, 2020

Skydive Tecumseh is proud to announce the employment of Ryan “Shaggio” Levesque as General Manager of Skydive Tecumseh. Levesque brings great experience to the role having served as Operations Manager and General Manager at Skydive Carolina since 2014.

During Levesque’s time at Chester, he managed a staff of more than 40, oversaw the CarolinaFest Boogie and was an active competitor with the Florida Canopy Piloting Association. Levesque is an AFF Instructor and a highly experienced camera flyer.

On the hire, DZO, Franz Gerschwhiler shared, “We are all excited to have Shaggio join our team. He’s successfully managed a dropzone of comparable size to our own and I anticipate he will help elevate our dropzone to the next level. He has a strong reputation in the industry and this feels like a great fit.”

On his new position, Levesque shared, “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the Skydive Tecumseh family. For the past couple of years, I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the Tecumseh community and the dropzone’s incredible facilities and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and getting the season kicked off!”

Levesque is expected to start on March 21st in time for Skydive Tecumseh’s Safety Day.

Tandem Skydiver in freefall at Skydive Tecumseh

Wonderful staff -- my tandem instructor, James, was funny, clear, and made sure that I was comfortable during the entire experience (which involved two flights and a bit of "will-we-or-won't-we" due to clouds).
The dive itself is unreal -- exhilarating and meditative, terrifying and relaxing, absolutely breathtaking. I absolutely recommend you try it here first. Skydive Tecumseh has a great reputation, and there's a reason for that. I hope to go again.
