Skydiving Fundraisers

A Unique Way To Raise Money & Awareness

If you’re a church or non-profit organization looking for the most creative way to raise money and awareness, a skydiving fundraiser may be something to consider!

Skydiving fundraisers offer:

  • Excitement for participants and spectators!
  • A fundraiser people will be talking about!
  • An event that will likely gain media attention!
  • A unique way to raise significant amounts of money!

How Does It Work?

There are many different formats, but the most common way is for participants to create a financial goal that they must hit in order to make the leap! Most participants set that amount at $2,500. The more participants that jump, the more money the organization raises and the more media attention the event receives.

Each participant is offered a discounted rate based on group size and day of the week!

Why Consider a Skydiving Fundraiser?

Skydive fundraisers or “charity skydives” were made popular in Great Britain in the early 1990s and have gained momentum since. A skydiving fundraiser is ideal for an event organizer looking for a unique way to raise awareness as opposed to the standard bake sales, car washes and golf tournaments. Skydive Tecumseh has hosted dozens of church groups and nonprofits throughout its history of operation.

Is a Skydiving Fundraiser Safe?

Skydiving like any other activity, isn’t without risk. The event can be done safely and Skydive Tecumseh has a sterling safety record since opening its doors in 1964. Fundraisers use the tandem skydiving method (participants jumping with professional instructors) which has a stronger safety record than civilian skydivers jumping on their own. For safety statistics, please visit the United States Parachute Association’s website to read data on the safety of the sport.

Who Do We Work With?

  • Church groups
  • Nonprofits
  • Crisis centers
  • Individuals
  • Survivors
  • And more!

Tandem Skydiver in freefall at Skydive Tecumseh

I've been here 2 times now and both times have been the experience of a lifetime! I plan on going again next summer as well. When people ask "why jump out of a perfectly good airplane" I reply with "because it's a perfectly good plane to jump out of!!" The people here are amazing and every time someone is looking for a good place, skydive Tecumseh is the only place that I recommend. I also like the fact you can donate the little bears too!!
